Fortunately, Cash App lets you change your $Cashtag, but only twice. When you change it to a new one, the previous $Cashtag becomes unavailable to everyone else, but you can switch back to it anytime. With that said, here’s how to change your $Cashtag on Cash App.
- Login to Cash App and head over to the profile tab.
- Tap Personal from the options and select the $Cashtag field when it appears.

How to Change Your Display Name on Cash App
The steps for changing your display name on Cash App are very similar to the steps required to change your username. Unlike your $Cashtag, however, there’s no hard limit as to how many times you can change your display name; as long as it’s something that Cash App allows, you’re good.
You can change your display name on Cash App by heading over to the profile tab after logging into your Cash App account. From there, you can select the personal option and then tap on your name below your profile picture.
